Soaring to New Heights
Giving Goodwill
Have large pieces of construction paper with a
picture representing each of the eight statements.
You can then put the boys' lines on the back of
each.  Have the boys hold their paper down until it is
time for them to say their part; when they should
hold it up high.

Scout 1: Leonardo da Vinci had a vision of man in
the sky.
Scout 2: Orville and Wilbur Wright built a plane, the
first one to fly.
Scout 3: The sound barrier was broken by Chuck
Yeager, they say.
Scout 4: John F. Kennedy said we'd put a man on
the moon one day.
Scout 5: The International Space Station is the best
out in space.
Scout 6: Where countries work together, instead of
competing in a race.
Scout 7: What will be next? Travel at the speed of
light?
Scout 8: Watch us fly high, we're Cub Scouts -
soaring to new heights!!!
This is a good skit for a Tiger Cub den, with
boys and adult partners alternating.
