Training, Training and More Training
Training is an important factor in the success of our adult leadership. It is only by having our leaders fully trained that we are able to provide the best and safest program for our Scouts. Please consult the list below for your options. Please Note: All Scout leaders regardless of the position you hold in your unit, are required by National BSA policy to complete Youth Protection session.
Aquatics Online Training Before any of you go out and do a swimming event on a campout you all need to be trained in Safety Afloat and Safe Swim Defense. This is a easy and fast way of getting them that will last for two years and it prints you a card right off the computer. Click on "Aquatics Online Training" above and take both test. The courses will last about 30 minutes to do both of them. After you finish each of them please make a copy of the paper that prints out and send it into the council office. You keep the other copy for your records and put the card in your wallet/purse/backpack for all scouting swimming events.
